What is The Roof Standard?
The Roof Standard v1.0 is a standardised set of 47 inspection points across 8 roof parts. Each point is photo-documented by an independent inspector. The result is a transparent tier rating: Bronze, Silver or Gold, plus a digital dossier that travels with the property.
The standard is publicly readable at /en/inspection. Anyone can verify what every roof is measured against and what the outcome means.
Three pillars
The standard. A standardised inspection set that does not vary per inspector or per region. Comparable through time.
The platform. A network of affiliated roofers who work according to the standard. RoofNorm orchestrates, they execute.
The certificate. Physical badge on the property, digital dossier in the app. Transferable on sale, recognised by insurers.
What it is not
RoofNorm is not a roofer and not a contractor. We do not perform repairs, lay tiles, or install skylights. Affiliated roofers do. RoofNorm guarantees the standard; the roofer guarantees the work.
